Arriva, maker of active wear headphones, decided to take a step into the “wireless” headphone ring with their latest product designed for the 2nd gen iPod shuffle. The contraption is essentially a pair of earbuds connected with an iPod shuffle dock in the back.
You may not want to wear these everywhere at the risk of someone ripping off your iPod shuffle, but these are a great idea for those of us who hit the gym. It could definitely be a great alternative to the armband. The picture you see above is just a prototype, the completed version will be 30% smaller and can be worn under your hair.
No word yet on pricing, but we should hear about that sometime next week. The device is expected to ship in 5-6 weeks.
