Over the past few weeks, many rumors have been cropping up hinting at new aluminum iMacs. Supposedly August 7th we will see the new units along with the rumored 6G iPod. Whether or not we will see an update to Apple’s product line is still up for speculation, but Engadget has picked up on these leaked photos of the aluminum keyboard that will supposedly accompany the new iMacs.
The pictures look quite convincing, and may actually be a development unit of the new keyboard as far as I can tell. The keyboard was rumored to be similar to that of the MacBook, and the leaked keyboard fits that bill nicely. Engadget says that seeing “Photoshop” in the exif data may also mean that these could be fake.
You should take these leaks with a grain of salt, as there is always a chance that these are not real. Though if Apple is really planning an aluminum iMac, I don’t think this keyboard would be too far off the mark.
