We have all made it, exhausted, to the end of a day, only to look down and realize a sad truth: our iPhones’ battery died long before we did. XPAL, maker of the PowerSkin case, has announced a refresh to their battery case line for the iPhone 4/4S that inject both color and extra power into your iPhone.

The new models are available in your choice of glossy black or a limited-edition titanium (oh, for the good ol’ days, when computers were made of titanium instead of aluminum, right?). The PowerSkin has a soft-touch exterior designed to provide grip while safeguarding your phone from drops, bumps, and shocks.

The PowerSkin cases feature on-demand power via an on/off button, so you can keep the extra battery for emergency use only. The internal battery is rated for up to 5 hours of talk time or 200 hours of standby, which should be enough to get you through a busy day. LED indicators on the back of the case show charging status (for the case, presumably, not the iPhone), and the design allows you to charge your iPhone and the case while simultaneously syncing data to the phone (assuming you still plug into a computer, of course).

Available at, the new PowerSkins cost $70 for either the glossy black or matte titanium finish.  There is a 20% discount if you use the code MYNEWPSK when ordering (the discount expires August 22nd, so get your order in soon!).
