iPhone vs. iPhoneIf you have been noticing your iPod acting weird ever since you bought your iPhone, Dan Moren over at iPhone Central may know why. He has found that sometimes when his iPod is in close proximity with his iPhone, the volume would fluctuate randomly when he went to adjust it. It seems like the iPhone is interfering with his iPod.

Now this has been a long standing problem with some cell phones and the iPod, and is not just limited to the iPhone. In the comments of Dan’s post people have cited the same problem using their Motorola RAZR near their iPod, and even an iPhone that will change the radio station.

Dan theorizes that the problem doesn’t lie in the iPhone itself, but rather the EDGE network. Whether this is a problem that can be fixed I’m not sure, but hopefully in the future iPhones and iPods can earn to play nice with each other.
