World of Warcraft’s fourth expansion is coming on September 25th and now’s the perfect time to start on a brand new set of adventures in Mists of Pandaria. Especially since Blizzard has dramatically reduced the price of the original game and each of the three expansions until August 27th.
You can buy the World of Warcraft: Battle Chest which includes the original game, the first expansion — Burning Crusade, a month of gametime, and a 256-page beginner’s guide for $5. Unfortunately the physical box version is sold out so you’ll have purchase the digital download instead.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion and is also $5. You’ll have to purchase the digital download since the physical box is sold out.
The current expansion is World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and you can get that for $10 with both the digital download and physical box versions available.
You’ll need to get the Battle Chest before you get Wrath of the Lich King, and you need that in order to get Cataclysm. If you’re a new player it will cost you $20 to get everything however that’s a huge savings over the original $79.97. Once you do you’ll be ready for Mists of Pandaria which you can pre-purchase now in both the standard and collector’s editions (go here to see what the differences are).
You only have until August 27th to take advantage of these incredible savings so be sure to head on over to Blizzard’s Store if you don’t want to miss out on saving money and adventure.
