[Rumor] Apple to hold iPad Mini media event this month

According to recent rumors on the web, the iPhone 5 won’t be the last product announcement of the year for Apple. A new report from Fortune magazine claims Apple is preparing to launch their iPad mini 7.85-inch screen tablet by the end of this month, with invitations for the event to start arriving as early as next week.
It has long been rumored that Apple is working on a 7″ iPad, backed up by numerous leaks of a rear aluminum casing. In addition, insiders spoke to AllThingsD (a reliable source of Apple event rumors) about a potential Apple media event to take place in October.
Of course, as of this writing we don’t have official word on an iPad Mini release, but if the rumors pan out, details will be announced soon.
