LaCie's Little Big Disk with Thunderbolt

With read speeds up to 635 MB/s, LaCie’s Little Big Disk is the fastest portable Thunderbolt solution on the market.

LaCie’s Little Big Disk Thunderbolt series can be configured in RAID 0 for performance or RAID 1 for security with transfer speeds reaching 634 MB/s. It has two Thunderbolt connectors, enabling you to connect many of them together for even higher transfer speeds, up to 800 MB/s. Even though it’s lightweight at 1.4 pounds/0.64 kilograms and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, it can transfer a 50 GB project in less than two minutes or edit six uncompressed 422 streams at the same time

“We saw an opportunity to make the LaCie Little Big Disk even faster and jumped on it,” said Erwan Girard, Professional Business Unit Manager, LaCie. “The new LaCie Little Big Disk can complete tasks in minutes that used to take hours. This saves our customers time and therefore money.”

LaCie’s Little Big Disk SSD model comes in two sizes: 512 GB for $699 and 1 TB for $999. They also come with a Thunderbolt cable included.
