This week on the Free Apps Roundup: If you’ve ever wanted to be a cat and destroy everything in sight, this is your lucky week. Actually, if you like iOS games, it’s your lucky week too. Clumsy Cat lets you be that devious cat I mentioned before, Square Planet has you as the only sphere in a world full of squares, and Symphonica is a new take on the music game genre from Square Enix. And don’t miss the limited time freebies. They are good as always.

The Top Three:

  • Clumsy Cat – Wouldn’t you just love to be a cat some days? I know I would. Only problem is, I might be a bad cat. Good news, this game encourages just such behavior. Indeed, the goal is to do as much damage as possible before your owners get home. Destroy every room in the house! Wreak havoc. Let chaos reign!
  • Square Planet – You are a fearless round ball in a square world, in this game at least. You’d be edging your way around hazards, collecting shiny rings, and grabbing power-ups. Tilt to roll, tap to jump. Sounds like fun.
  • Symphonica – The latest game from Square Enix is here and it’s a new breed of music game. You play as an up-and-coming conductor in Einsats, the city of music. As the conductor, it’s your job to get the orchestra to perform at their best. The better they do, the more points you get and the more famous you all become.

Free for a limited time:

  • Chess – Don’t you love it when apps titles tell you everything you need to know about an app?
  • Deadmau5 Mix – Do you like Deadmau5? Then maybe you’ll like this app that lets you mix Deadmau5 music.
  • Splashtop 2 – Access your desktop from your iOS device as long as you’re on the same network. You can buy the remote access feature in the app.
  • Mikey Shorts Halloween – Rescue the spirits by running, jumping and sliding as Mikey. This game supports iCade.
  • Streaker Run – Run around in this endless-runner game in gloriously censored nudity.
  • Qvoid – Want to play a unique puzzler? This game challenges your spatial perception and deductive reasoning.
  • Chop Chop Words – This is what you get when you mix Words With Friends and Fruit Ninja. Certainly an interesting combo.
