Last night at midnight, Apple began to accept pre-orders for their newly released iPad mini product. Eager customers logged on to complete their pre-orders for delivery on November 2nd, and despite a recent report to the contrary, it seems white still may be the color of choice for Apple products. White iPad mini shipments are now delayed for two weeks, while the black iPad Minis still show their November 2nd delivery date.
Market analysts have big expectations for the iPad mini, predicting Apple could sell more than 5 million units despite its comparatively high pricing structure. We expect Apple to issue a statement early next week announcing the sales number for the newest iPad.
The iPad mini is available for $329 (16GB), $429 (32GB), and a $529 (64GB). The Wi-Fi model is available on November 2nd (in black, anyway, as we mentioned), while the Wi-Fi + Cellular version will ship in mid-November.
