After Apple released iOS v6.0.1 to consumers today they seeded the iOS 6.1 beta to registered developers to their Dev Program. The new beta is identified as build number 10B5095f and will be compatible with all iOS devices.
The first thing developers will notice in iOS 6.1 are the new features. Maps has been improved to better integrate with other apps, some changes are being made to Passbook (including how boarding passes are handled), and Safari is getting some minor changes.
iOS developers who would like to download iOS 6.1 beta can head over to Apple’s iOS Dev Center.
