I didn’t buy the iPad mini. Happy enough with my 3rd gen iPad, thanks. If I had, though I’d be at Moshi’s site checking out their lineup of cases and screen protectors for the new device, because it’s just the smart thing to do. Trust me on this…I’ve been doing it for a long time.
The iPad mini lineup includes versions of their popular Concerti portfolio case, VersaCover origami-style folding case, and iVisor screen protectors.
VersaCover: Origami-style magnetic cover and hard shell case with stand
The redesigned VersaCover (available in aloe green, denim blue, Sakura pink or velvet gray) combines a soft microfiber cover which can be easily folded to offer viewing in both portrait and landscape modes with a polycarbonate hard shell which protects the device’s aluminum back from scratches and shocks.
The VersaCover supports the iPad mini’s auto-wake/sleep feature and allows for unhindered operation of all iPad buttons and cameras.
VersaCover for iPad mini will sell for $55 USD.
Concerti: Elegant portfolio case
Moshi’s Concerti portfolio case offers iPad mini customers such features as a sleek microfiber exterior, a cushioned silicone interior and several additional convenient features for the avid tablet user, including:
- Dozens of adjustable viewing angles
- An elastic strap to secure the front cover in place when closed
- Hybrid silicone/microfiber inner case for superior 360-degree shock and scratch protection
- Built-in magnet assembly for auto-wake/sleep functionality
- Unobstructed use of front and backside cameras while inside the case
Concerti for the iPad mini will sell for $45 USD, and will be available in falcon gray.
iVisor XT and AG: Bubble-proof and washable screen protection
Moshi’s iVisor screen protector will be available for the iPad mini in both the XT (high clarity) and AG (anti-glare) versions. And as with its previous versions for Apple’s iDevices, it’ll offer easy, bubble-free installation and unlimited cleaning/reapplication.
The iVisor AG is designed to protect the iPad mini’s touchscreen from scratches, fingerprints, and other minor damage while reducing distracting glare from excess light. iVisor XT provides the same features, but offers extreme clarity for users concerned with maintaining the screen’s glossy finish.
iVisor AG and XT for the iPad mini will sell for $30 USD, and will be available in black or white to match the device.
Moshi’s iPad mini products are targeted for official launch at the end of Q4 2012.
