Stan Lee’s iOS game Verticus now available

With endless running or jumping games becoming more popular, you can expect someone such as Stan Lee to add his own a creative twist.  Lee—who has collaborated on previous iOS games such as the Avengers, Spider-Man, and Iron Man—has just released a new game dubbed Verticus in which you take control of a superhero equipped with a high-tech, heat-resistant suit. Your objective is to prevent the Earth’s destruction at the hands of an evil alien race known as The Obliterators.

So, how do you accomplish the feat? By jumping into the athmosphere towards the very center of the Earth. Along the way, you’ll be avoiding obstacles, thwarting alien attacks and battling fierce foes. Of course, there will be some stuff to collect along the way, as well as the ability to upgrade your suits.

Watching the promotional video of the game, I couldn’t helped but be enthralled by the game design—something you expect from a great, creative mind such as that of Stan Lee.
