Good news for iPhone 5 and new iPod touch owners; if you already love AmpliTube—one of the best guitar processing apps on the App Store—you’ll love the latest update even more. AmpliTube 2.7 now utilizes the entire 4 inch display on the iPhone 5. Those extra pixels might not sound like much, but using the whole screen is a very welcome update to this already fantastic app.

If you aren’t already familiar with AmpliTube, it’s a super guitar processing app. The full version comes with 24 gear models, which include 5 amps, 5 cabinets, 2 mics, and 11 stompboxes. If that’s just not enough for you, there’s a gear store where more models are just waiting to be added to your app. The store even has officially certified models from Fender, Soldano, Ampeg, T-Rex, and more.

There are three separate AmpliTube apps. There’s the full app detailed above, AmpliTube LE (which is cheaper and comes with less gear), and finally AmpliTube Free (which actually comes with 8 gear models, despite being free). The full app is $19.99, while LE is just $2.99.
