Apple has announced that the newly introduced 21.5″ iMacs will be available November 30th. The entry level model of the iMac will feature a powerful 2.7GHz quadcore Core i5 processor (with an option for a 2.9Ghz i7 processor), paired with 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard-drive at a retail price of $1,299.
There’s also Apple’s new Fusion Drive, combining a both flash and hard-drive capacity storage for an all-in-one solution.
The new iMac models will ship with Apple’s new wireless keyboard and with the choice of a Magic Trackpad or a Magic Mouse.
The 21.5″ model will be sold through Apple’s online/retail stores and via selected authorized retailers starting on November 30th. The 27″ iMac is expected to start shipping in December.
