Apple’s new 21.5″ and 27″ iMac models now for sale

The new 21.5″ and 27″ iMac models are now on sale at Apple’s online store. The the all-in-one desktop now offers a thinner profile, powerful processors, and the option to include the brand new Fusion Drive. All of the new iMac units will come standard with Nvidia GeForce graphics cards. The 21.5″ iMac model starts at $1,299, and the 27″ model starts at $1,799.

Those planning to buy a new iMac should be warned that Apple has said there will be limited stock available for the first few weeks. According to the online store’s shipping estimate, the 21.5″ iMac will be delivered 1 to 3 business days, while the 27″ model won’t start shipping for 3 to 4 weeks.

For those customers who might be tempted to pick one up right now, the 21.5″ iMacs will also be available at Apple’s retail stores and at other third-party retailers.
