Within a few hours after Apple opened iMac orders, online benchmark tests surfaced showing the performance increase the new iMacs have over previous generation iMacs. Mostly thanks to the latest processor from Intel’s Ivy Bridge architecture, the 21.5″ models managed outperform older models by 25%.
The same 21.5″ model even beats last year’s larger 27-inch display model by nearly 10%.
