Last Week, Apple’s iTunes 11 was finally released to the public, offering new features and a resigned interface. However, many Apple forum users have been voicing concerns about critical software bugs found in the new software, including problems with album covers, movie streaming with Apple TV, and the removal of duplicate media search functionality.

Now, AllThingsD’s Walt Mossberg has reported that Apple will soon be launching a software update for iTunes 11. This new update comes with fixes for these bugs and restores the ability for users to search for duplicate songs in their music library.

Mossberg also mentions that Music Cover Flow, which was removed in iTunes 11, won’t be coming back anytime soon as Apple claims it had limited appeal amongst consumers.
