Rockstar finally brings one of its best entries in the Grand Theft Auto series to iOS. We’re referring, of course, to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City which first hit the Playstation 2 in 2002. If I’m not mistaken, Vice City was the sixth game in the GTA series. I recall spending countless hours playing this game on my then PS2, so I’m really hoping the iOS version will be as good as its original iteration.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for iOS is a universal game, which means you will only have to pay once to get it running on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It features high-resolution graphics well-suited for iOS devices, updated controls and a plethora of other features such as cool lighting effects on characters, tailored firing and targeting options, iCloud save game support, countless hours of gameplay, Retina display support and custom iTunes playlist.
The game is available now from the App Store for $4.99. Not a bad price, although make sure you have ample storage left on your iDevice before installing the game since it will take up more than 1GB of space.
