Good news for photo enthusiasts! The $4.99 Photo Editor iPad app, Snapseed, is now available on App Store for free. Yes, it’s a great early holiday gift from Google, and that’s not all; the search engine giant also rolled out its Android version and a Google Plus feature dubbed “Communities.” Users can join these communities according to their interests, like Photography.

Join any public or private group under “Communities” and gain some insights from different users (e.g. artists, makers, hackers, etc.). How about the Photography section? Since Snapseed helps you create such creative photos, you can share your pieces and exchange ideas to other photographers and hobbyists.

Snapseed is a stellar photo editor that features Instagram-like filters and styling you can apply to your photos instantly. Google recently bought the company, and now that the app is available for Android devices it’ll certainly help expand the Snapseed community, which is good for everyone.
