Once in awhile, a good game with simple gameplay and graphics comes along in the iTunes App Store. At first, you’ll find this kind of game is too simple and seems to offer nothing but a waste of time. But then, as you give it a few minutes, you’ll realize it’s a good or, better yet, great game after all. One such game just came along, and it’s called Crumble Zone.

What is it?

I’m not really sure how to best describe Crumble Zone. It could be a space shooter where you have to shatter and smash asteroids and comets using various weapons. You’ll also be able to hurl missiles at your opponents for the simple goal of saving the planet for as long as you can. You can also earn diamonds and precious gems which you can use to unlock other special weapons. There’s a single-player mission game as well as multiplayer mode.

One thing is for sure; Crumble Zone’s gameplay is entertaining enough to get you hooked into playing if only to find out how you’ll fare every time you pick it up versus the last time you played the game.

How does it work?

As mentioned, this game is pretty simple. All you have to do is to shoot comets and asteroids before they approach the planet you’re protecting. You move in circling motion outside the planet, preventing these comets and asteroid from getting past. There are three controls in the game. On the lower right side of your screen is the firing button, and on the opposite side are the the left and right movement arrows.

And that’s it. That’s all you need to know to enjoy this game. Simple, right?

Is contagious?

By all means, yes it is. The game may not be free, but hey, $0.99 is not a bad price to pay for a game with several nice features that add up to your enjoyment. The game’s graphics are also colorful and a delight to behold. Another reason why you should grab this game from the App Store now.
