Instagram has released version 3.4.0 of its mobile app for iOS devices. New to the app is the ability to log in through Facebook’s iOS 6 single sign-on integrations. This means that once you’re signed into Facebook’s iOS integration, you will be immediately logged into Instagram, making it easier and faster to use the app and share photos between Facebook and Instagram.

Aside from the Facebook single sign-on, the Instagram update also adds a new photo filter named Mayfair. You can now also share photos from any album on your iPhone and not just from the main camera roll. This feature was inadvertently taken out during the last update to the app, and many Instagram users missed it so it has been brought back.

Other new features for iOS include support for 25 more languages and full access to all the photos in your phone, as well as bug fixes and performance improvements.
