Sax Software—developer of several navigation apps for the iPhone—has released a new app titled MapChoice, which gives users the freedom to choose to get directions from either Apple’s Maps or Google Maps. The developers integrated both systems seamlessly within the application, allowing users to easily switch between both Google and Apple maps for driving directions.

MapChoice comes with Google’s Street View functionality built in, giving iPhone 5 owners more ways to explore locations with street imagery. You can even search or read reviews of locations of restaurants/shops through the FourSquare service.

MapChoice is now available for download at $0.99 cents in the App Store, and it’s compatible with the iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5 and iPod Touch 4th/5th generation.
