The problem with headphones these days is that you need worry not only about sound, but also about functionality. It’s one thing to sit on your couch or office chair and enjoy quality audio, it’s another thing entirely to do so when out for a jog, on the subway, or when exercisting. BOOM looks to address this issue with the Spooners, “… an earbud that is functional and Ready For Anything™.”
BOOM founder, Ryan Minarik, set out with members of their Global Design Center to solve the eternal problem of headphone cord management. Working with college students and BOOM’s team of Action Sports Athletes, BOOM gained unique insights into this everyday problem that influenced the unique industrial design of the SPOONERS.
