Following web browsers such as Google Chrome and Opera, Firefox for OS X has been updated to support the Retina display of Apple’s Macbook computers. Users will now be able to enjoy the enhanced display along with Firefox’s faster performance, as Mozilla claims a new JavaScript compiler called “IonMonkey” helps the browser render web apps and games 25% faster than previous builds.

Firefox v18, is now available for download at their official website.
