Tweetdeck is a very good app for those who just can’t live without checking your Twitter account timelines, especially if you maintain several Twitter and other social networking accounts, including Facebook. Back in October, the app was overhauled with a new design and personalization options. The app’s Chrome version was previously updated with some nice features such as “Embed this tweet,” and now all those new features have been brought into Tweetdeck for Mac.

According to Tweetdeck, the latest update contains more than 90 fixes and tweaks as well as the new features. “Embed this tweet” is one of those new features, so you can now copy embed code directly from a tweet in Tweetdeck to paste on a website or blog. You can check out this feature via the drop-down menu and by selecting “more actions” option while a tweet is open. The option appears next to the reply, retweet and favorite buttons.

Additionally, Tweetdeck for Mac now also has typehead and PeopleSearch. Typehead provides you with suggestions of possible search terms, including user suggestion. PeopleSearch allows you to see all user account matches to your search. The update also lets you reduce the multi-column window to just two, making the app’s interface appear simpler than before.

Finally, in case you haven’t noticed it yet, Tweetdeck for Mac now has another skin option—a white background in addition to the standard black skin of the app.

Tweetdeck for Mac is available now from the Mac App Store as a free download.
