Apple has just announced they will be making the WiFi+Cellular iPad mini—as well as the 4th generation iPad—available in the Chinese market starting this Friday, January 17, 2013. Both iPad models will be available through Apple retail stores in China, the Apple Online Store and select Apple authorized resellers.
If you’re in China right now, take note that both the black & slate and white & silver models of the iPad mini will be available for sale. The suggested retail price is the same as in the U.S. Market: $459 for the 16GB model, $599 for the 32GB model and $659 for the 64GB model.
The fourth generation iPad with WiFi+Cellular come in black or white and with a retail price of $699 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 32GB model and $829 for the 64GB model. The iPad 2 will also be available for only $399.
So, with these upcoming releases in China, expect Apple’s sales figures for the iPad mini and iPad 4th gen to increase by leaps and bounds considering there are ample Apple fans in China right now.
