Macworld 2012 featured some cool exhibitors with great products, so Appletell decided to check back in with those folks at Macworld/iWorld 2013 and see what they’re up to one year later.

iBallz

iBallz Still a funny name, still serious protection, now for the iPad mini. Appletell reviewed the iBallz and Lid case for the full size iPad after last year’s Macworld, and this year the company is showing off their iBallz Mini protectors for the iPad mini as well as a new flamingo pink iBallz color. Cases, including the Lid case, are also being revamped for the Mini and will be available later this year.

Lenspen

When we reviewed Lenspen’s SideKick last year we noted that despite its exceptional cleaning ability, the cleaner was a little too big for use on an iPhone/iPod. New for this year is the SmartKlear, which is basically a scaled down version of the SideKick perfect for an iPhone.

Hands down the best screen cleaner I’ve ever used, the new scaled-down SmartKlear is also the perfect size for a purse or pocket.

ōlloclip

From a plucky little booth in the back to a huge pavilion near the front, ōlloclip has leapfrogged for 2013. This handy 3-in-1 iPhone camera attachment has been updated since we tried out the original on an iPhone 4S.

It is now available for the iPhone 5, and will soon be available to iPod Touch users via an adaptor.

Scosche

Last year Scosche got some attention from us mainly for their sales. This year, the company is showing a line of portable Bluetooth speakers which, unlike many other mini Bluetooth speakers, actually sound great. Most impressive is the littlest entry (contrary to conventional thinking): the Boomstream mini.

Scosche

By using the surface under the speaker as a subwoofer, this tiny speaker pumps out a mighty sound – enough to be impressive even over the dull roar of the Macworld convention floor.
