Bowblade

AppleTell associate editors Bill Stiteler and Aaron Krauss give a mini wrap-up of Day 2 of Macworld/iWorld, with products that control your DSLR and let you unleash your inner Katniss while building upper body strength.

Aaron’s pick:

The HyperDrive Camerator lets you remotely control your DSLR. The device sits in the hotshoe and creates a mini-network, allowing you to control the camera using your iPad, iPhone, Android, and Windows computer.

Bill’s picks:

Cam Ranger is a similar product, allowing you to take photos, control focus, and transfer images using a network device that plugs into the USB port on your Nikon or Canon DSLR.

The Bowblade looks like a compound bow frame that you use to play enhanced reality shooters. It can also be used as a workout device.
