HEX—designers of stylish bags and accessories for laptops and mobile devices—has just launched a new lineup of cases and totes for spring 2013. Called Cabana, the nautical ticking stripe is at once casual and contemporary, for those who want a bit of style without an overly loud pattern.

Appletell has reviewed a number of HEX cases for iPhone and iPad, and currently has a Drake Messenger bag for review (stay tuned for that), and the products have always impressed. The Cabana collection looks to be an extension of HEX’s unique blend of functional cases with old school fashion details,  the Drake Messenger bag has the fine grey wool herringbone one might expect to see in a gentleman’s topcoat.

The Cabana collection offers a nautical theme for protecting your devices, with a sturdy navy blue and red pinstripe made of wax-coated canvas fabric, with tan leather contrasted fittings like zipper pulls.

The lineup spans a number of cases, covers, sleeves, and bags covering virtually every Apple product and then some. There are hard cases and sleeves for the Retina MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs, cross-body and messenger bags for laptops and iPad, backpacks and totes for computers, and a hard case for iPhone. All the  bags/sleeves feature padded protection and microfleece-lined interiors for taking care of your gear.  Prices range from $40-$100, and the entire lineup can be bought from HEX’s online store.
