Here’s a quick report to let you all know Apple has just made its MacBook Pro with Retina display products cheaper and faster. Sounds like a great Valentine’s treat, especially for those of you who were holding back on purchasing these new Macs when they were announced earlier.

Apple just made the official announcement, so now you can have the 13″ MacBook Pro with Retina display for $1,499 with 128GB flash storage. Add a couple of hundreds more and you can have the same MacBook Pro with a 2.6GHz processor and 256GB flash storage for $1,699. The 13″ MacBook Air with 256GB of flash was also made cheaper and will now only cost you $1,399.

If you want a bigger screen with Retina display, you may opt to get the 15″ MacBook Pro instead. This Mac unit is now using a faster 2.4GHz quad-core processor, while the top-of-the line 15″ MacBook Pro now sports a 2.7GHz quad-core processor and 16GB of RAM.

All these MacBook Pro units are now available from the Apple Store and other usual Apple distribution channels. So, which one are you getting?
