Following the recent release of version of iTunes 11.0.2, Apple has released an iOS update. iOS v6.1.2 update launched yesterday, bringing a couple of bug fixes and along with software improvements.
According to Apple, the update fixes a reported Microsoft Exchange calendar syncing bug that resulted in increased network activity and poor battery life. iOS v6.1.2 also addresses a big vulnerability issue that allowed users to bypass your iPhone’s password lock screen passcode.
The new version of iOS can be downloaded and installed over-the-air by:
- Tap Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- Tap Download and Install
This one’s a pretty quick update, so you needn’t worry about plugging your iDevice in for the unless your battery is pretty low to begin with.
