Facebook app VOIP

The Facebook app for iOS has been updated to v5.5, bringing improvements that make it easier to like, comment, and post. The update also adds the ability to make voice free calls to your Facebook friends you’ve added to your list, provided those friends also have the latest version.

Placing a voice call on Facebook for iOS is as simple as tapping on a friend’s name in the chat menu and on their info button, revealing the option to make a free call. To determine whether your friends are available, the button will show different colors (green means he or she is online, and grey means offline).

The Facebook app is universal, so it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It’s available now for free in Apple’s App Store.
