iOS 6.1.3 updateIf any or all of your iOS devices are still running iOS 6.1.2 or earlier, you should grab the iOS 6.1.3 update which Apple just pushed to users. The update doesn’t contain any big improvements or major new feature, but it certainly is something important.

The iOS 6.1.3 update fixes a security flaw that involves the iOS device lock screen. This flaw poses a threat to your iOS device by allowing anyone capable of running a complex process to access your iOS device.

Aside from fixing the flaw, iOS 6.1.3 also brings improvements to Maps in Japan.

Jailbreakers should know that once you update your iOS device, it will no longer be jailbroken (at least for the moment). So, if that’s your thing, you might want to skip the update for now.

As for me, both my iPhone 5 and iPad mini are still ok with iOS 6.1.2, so I’ll save the update process for the next one.
