Finally, the fourth U.S. carrier to offer the iPhone 5 has started accepting pre-orders of Apple’s flagship device today. We’re talking about T-Mobile, of course, which promises to ship the iPhone 5 orders to its customers starting April 12. And in case you’re not aware, the T-Mobile iPhone 5 is being offered to customers for a $99.99 down payment with monthly payments of $20/month for 24 months. You can also opt to pay the full base price of the unit ($579.99) up front. That package comes with no annual service contrac,t but you’ll still get to enjoy unlimited talk, text and web surfing via T-Mobile’s 4G network, provided your area is covered by T-Mobile’s 4G network.  As of today, this only includes Baltimore, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Jose,  and Washington, D.C. According to T-Mobile, coverage is expected to reach 100 million people by mid-2013 and 200 million by end of 2013.
