Logitech G series

Logitech has updated their Logitech Gaming Software for their Logitech G gaming mice and keyboards to support OS X. Prices range from $40 – $100 for the mice and $60 – $200 for the keyboards, all of which have enough buttons to take your gaming to the next level.

Logitech Gaming Software is a configuration utility that allows you to customize your Logitech game controller behavior for a particular game. It allows you to create commands and assign them to buttons and to change controller axis response curves. You can use this to create a new game profile, modify an existing game profile, print a graphical game layout, display the command associated with each control, print a device layout, display control labels, exchange game profiles with others, and launch games.

The Logitech G product lineup include:

  • G100/G100s Optical Gaming Mouse
  • G300 Gaming Mouse
  • G400/G400s Optical Gaming Mouse
  • G500/G500s Laser Gaming Mouse
  • G600 MMO Gaming Mouse
  • G700/G700s Rechargeable Gaming Mouse
  • G9/G9x Laser Mouse
  • MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse

  • G103 Gaming Keyboard
  • G105 Gaming Keyboard
  • G110 Gaming Keyboard
  • G13 Advanced Gameboard
  • G11 Gaming Keyboard
  • G15 Gaming Keyboard (v1 and v2)
  • G510/G510s Gaming Keyboard
  • G710+ Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
  • G19/G19s Gaming Keyboard

It’s great to see more support for Mac gaming, as it helps to break the cycle of games not coming out for OS X due to gamers who would otherwise gravitate to Windows for the better accessories.
