mzl.zzcwgdqv.480x480-75This week on the Free Apps Roundup: Fe + Male + iPhone = Iron Man the game for iPhone. I’m a little excited for Iron Man 3, as you should be also. In the meantime, you can kill some time and some A.I.M. forces in the endless 3D runner that is Iron Man 3 for iOS. You should also check out AppShopper Social. It’s a great app for keeping track of other apps on the App Store. You can even set triggers to be notified of price changes for specific apps when/if they happen. Plus, Pangea decided to offer up a bunch of games for free. It’s going to be a good weekend for your iOS device.

The Top Three Free Apps:

  • Apple Store – You love your iPhone, right? But it’s only amazing as long as it’s the latest and greatest version of iPhone. In the latest update to this app, the Apple Store app can now send you a notification the instant that you are eligible for upgrade pricing on a new iPhone. Plus, the new version sends you delivery notifications.
  • AppShopper Social – Share your app interests with your friends and see what apps your friends are interested in. But the best part of this app is that you can add specific apps to your wish list and get notified of any price changes or updates via notification.
  • Iron Man 3 – Have you ever wanted to be a billionaire? How about one that flies around in a metal suit and saves the world for fun? Now you can in this endless 3D runner style game as Tony Stark, i.e. Iron Man. You’ll be fighting around the world against the rising A.I.M. forces. You can even research and develop up to 18 suits from the different movies. You’ll pretty much have to download it to keep you occupied while you wait to see Iron Man 3.

More Free Apps:

  • Google Fiber – As if everyone else weren’t already jealous that you have access to Google fiber while the rest of us don’t, Google has released this app for Fiber users. It allows you to control your entire Google Fiber TV experience. Find and discover TV shows and movies. Plus, you can browse, buy and watch your favorite on-demand content.
  • FedEx Mobile – Track the status of your packages, find FedEx locations, schedule deliveries, reroute packages, even sign for a package right from your iPhone. This is the one stop shop for FedEx services right on your iOS device.
  • Robot Unicorn Attack 2 – I think we can all agree that Unicorns are both majestic and wonderful. In this game, you’ll get to be one. But wait, there’s more. You’ll be able to customize your very own unicorn after picking from different bodies, manes, wings, horns, tails and more. Pick a side, either Team Rainbow or Team Inferno. Then, battle mighty giants and dash through their dangerous Solar Beams. Each day there’s a new level to compete in.

Free Apps for a Limited Time:

  • Domino for iPhone – Play the Latinamerican version of the classic game of Dominoes against virtual pliers or real players over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Game Center.
  • Domino for iPad – The same for iPad.
  • Enigmo – Direct animated streams of flowing liquid so the droplets get to their destination. You can use water, oils and lava from droppers to bounce around the walls of the puzzle. Then there are objects to interact with, like bumpers, sliders, accelerators, and sponges to help divert the flow of falling droplets. All that’s left to do is solve the puzzles as quickly as possible.
  • Enigmo Deluxe – The same for iPad.
  • Enigmo 2 – Can’t get enough Enigmo? Alright, well this one has plasma, laser beams, gravetoids, tele porters, gravity inverters, and more. Enjoy.
  • Antimatter – You control a stream of Antimatter particles and use it to affect the Cosmic Strings while collecting power ups and bonus points. It’s a physics puzzle game similar to Enigmo, but more of an arcade game.
  • Nucleus – Fly a spaceship around while blowing up space debris in this space arcade game. The bigger goal is to collect electrons and build an atom.
  • Bugdom 2 – Play as Skip McFly, a cool grasshopper who explores the areas inside and around a house. This game really brings be back to, well, middle school.
  • Nanosaur 2 – Pilot a flying dinosaur from the future who is equipped with massive firepower. You’ll have to find and retrieve missing dinosaur eggs and blow other stuff up. Dinosaurs and explosions; sounds good, right?
