One of the new iOS 7 features that was announced during the WWDC 2013 is iOS in the car. Apple is forging ties with car manufacturers to have their newer car models starting in 2014 integrated with the iOS in the Car feature.
So, when it becomes available, manufacturers such as Jaguar, Hyndai, Volvo, Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Chevrolet, Kia, Ferrari and others which will have iOS 7 in the Car integrated in their car’s in-dash systems. With them, you’ll be able to connect with your iPhone 5 and use its features via the car’s built-in display and controls.
iOS in the Car will let you make phone calls, play music or listen to the soon-to-be available iTunes Radio, send and receive SMS, ask for driving directions and more. You will be able to do all those things without taking your eyes off the road and without the need to tinker with your iPhone 5 while driving.
