The official trailer for Jobs—starring Ashton Kutcher as Apple co-founder Steve Jobs—was released about two weeks ago. Today, Moviefone posted an image of the official movie poster.
The colorful artwork features Kutcher dressed up as the Apple co-founder, complete with the salt and pepper beard and the circular glasses. In the biopic, co-founder Steve Wozniak is played by Josh Gad. It’s worth noting that Wozniak has claimed the scenes portrayed in the trailer and other videos are “… so far from anything that really happened.”
The movie poster tells viewers to “Turn on your mind,” and has a tagline that reads, “Some see what’s possible, others change what’s possible.” The official movie poster uses a color scheme similar to that of an iPod ad in 2001, in which a silhouette would dance in front of multiple colored backgrounds.
The Jobs movie will be released nationwide on August 16th, delayed from the expected release earlier this year. These movie posters will also likely begin to appear in larger metropolitan areas and at movie theaters across the United States.
