Might & Magic: Duel of Champions

Remember back when your mom said you were wasting your time with “…those card games you play with your little friends?” Well, you can show her you have no hard feelings when you pick her up a souvenir from the Might and Magic: Duel of Champions World Championship at Paris Games Week this October/November.

Ubisoft has announced the “Road to Paris” Tournament Series for the PC and iPad compatible collectible card game, Might & Magic: Duel of Champions. The tournaments will take place this summer through online qualifiers and live tournament events, culminating in the World Championship at Paris Games Week, October 30th to November 3rd, when more than $40,000 in prizes will be handed out. The grand prize is an ultra-portable Razer Blade Pro gaming laptop.

Players can register for live tournaments on-site at the events, or participate in the online qualifiers, from which eight competitors (one of which has already been determined) will be invited to compete for the title of Might & Magic: Duel of Champions – Grand Champion.

The remaining tickets to the Road to Paris Final Stage can be won through the following qualifying events this summer, as well as two monthly online qualifiers:

  • PAX Australia in Melbourne, July 19-20
  • GenCon in Indianapolis, August 15-18
  • Gamescom in Cologne, August 22-25
  • Fan Expo in Toronto, August 22-25
  • Eurogamer in London, September 26-29
