Yahoo! Fantasy SportsFantasy football fans (and I’m told there are a few of us) have been able to manage their teams via mobile apps for a few years now, but Yahoo! Fantasy Sports now allows team owners to draft their players via the app, as well. In other words, no more excuses about having to miss the live draft. You’ve got LTE at your daughter’s wedding reception, right? No problem.

With the live mobile fantasy football draft capabilities, team owners can set up their queue, pick players, check results and chat with other managers. Of course, Yahoo! Fantasy Sports comes with additional features you’d expect and need to stay on top of the season:

  • Run mock drafts.
  • Follow your team in real-time with live scoring.
  • Make roster adjustments.
  • Get weekly matchup details.
  • Read the latest updates on each of your players from the experts at Rotoworld.
  • Keep in touch with other managers and stay on top of important league topics in the message boards.

Utilizing technology incorporated by Bignoggins Production, Loki Studios and the Yahoo! Sports mobile team, Yahoo! Fantasy Sports will begin with football, but will bring all Yahoo! Sports Fantasy games—including basketball, hockey and baseball—under one mobile roof.

For more information, read  yahoo.tumblr.com. Yahoo! Fantasy Sports is available now free for iOS and Android devices.

Yahoo is by far the best site to use for fantasy football and their apps reflect that. I also suggest using Fantasy Football Draft Board (iPhone) for drafts. It is a composite ranking system and is only $0.99. I used to spend a lot more of magazines.
