By now, all of you should have marked September 10th on your calendar, if the sources of AllThingsD are to be believed. That’s the expected day when Apple will unveil its upcoming iPhone lineup, including a low cost iPhone 5C and the refreshed iPhone 5S. Now, a new rumor is suggesting the much anticipated devices will go on sale starting September 20th.
A similar report from WSJ yesterday mentioned the availability of the devices to be a week and half after the announcement date, which would be around September 20th.
The rumor also mentions that iOS 7 will be available for download on September 16th.
A similar report from Nikkei suggested the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will go on sale in Japan on September 20th. The report also mentions that the iPhone 5S gold color option will be available on the same day.
Let’s take this rumor with the grain of salt. We don’t know the how legit the sources are, but we have seen reports from trusted publications that point towards the same launch date. So, we’re comfortable with the belief that we will see new Apple devices unveiled on September 10th.
