With only about 24 hours left until the official Apple event, we have some more leaked information about the iPhone 5S specs. We can safely assume by now that it’ll retain the same design as the current iPhone 5, and that it will be availabe in black, white and gold/champagne. There is a possibility of the fourth color (graphite) as well, but we are not sure if it is real.
Coming back to the specifications, earlier rumors suggested that the device would feature major hardware improvements such as A7 chipset, fingerprint scanner in the home button and an improved camera. Now, a leaked document from Chinese shores confirms some of the specifications. As expected, the device will feature a dual-LED flash with a 8 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture capable of capturing images in low-light conditions. The rear camera has been improved to bring 1080p video recording support of up to 120fps. The front will feature a 1.2 megapixel camera for FaceTime or Skype calls.
The device is also expected to provide 250 hours of battery life on standby, which is quite impressive.
There are no details about the color options in the leaked document.
Apple is expected to unveil the much-anticipated iPhone 5S tomorrow along with the rumored low-cost iPhone 5C. Be sure to join us for our live blog of the Apple event tomorrow.
