Apple’s next-generation iPhones will be available for $99 on-contract for the 16GB iPhone 5C, while the iPhone 5S will go for $199 on-contract with the carrier of your choice. Both devices are expected to hit the shelves on September 20th, with pre-orders for iPhone 5C beginning September 13th. Before going for a walk to your nearest Apple Store, however, you should check out the Walmart iPhone promotion.
The retailer announced it will sell iPhone 5C 16GB version for $79 on-contract, while the 16GB iPhone 5S will be sold for $189 with a two-year contract on any supported carrier. Customers who want to get an iPhone 5C can pre-order the device starting Friday, September 13. The iPhone 5C is available for pre-orders on a first come first served basis and must be picked up by September 25th. The iPhone 5S is not available for pre-orders, so users have to grab one from the store on September 20th.
If you can wait for another day, Walmart’s trade-in program will kick off on September 21st, which will offer immediate credit for your current smartphone, which can be used to purchase the new iPhone.
