Apple already testing iOS v7.0.1, 7.0.2 and 7.1?

Apple will release the next generation iOS 7 September 18th for download, and the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will come with iOS 7 out of the box. Now, it seems Apple is already testing the iterative updates to the new operating system.

The web analytics of 9to5Mac already show iDevices with iOS v7.0.1, 7.0.2 and 7.1 visiting the website. The visits show the unreleased versions of iOS 7 as well as the locations, which includes Cupertino as well as the cities surrounding the headquarters.

Apple usually releases updates within a few weeks after the launch of a new operating systems. So, iOS 7.0.1 and iOS 7.0.2 could be minor updates that will fix bugs and improve stability of the upcoming iOS 7, while iOS 7.1 is going to be a major update which could bring new features and functionality. iOS 7.0.1 and iOS 7.0.2 could be released in the coming weeks while it could take months for iOS 7.1 to hit the devices.

Apple is expected to launch new iPads later this year, and there is a possibility that iOS 7.1 could come pre-installed with them, bringing support for the new hardware. Rumors suggest Apple will unveil the new iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 by the end of October.
