There are very few bags out there that let you carry a massive amount of stuff without sacrificing style. C6 has managed to create a rugged, stylish and handy backpack that is very easy to carry around. The C6 backpack comes in two different sizes—a large and small—and in multiple colors, including black and forest green.
The forest green color (which they sent us for review) really adds to the excellent design of the product, and screams portability. The small backpack and the large backpack are both excellent choices, though the larger one may be the way to go. I say this only because both bags are made for carrying lots of items, so the larger one will be the most beneficial.
C6 designed this backpack for customers to be able to carry as much as they can. It looks like a very big and deep knapsack, but still keeps some organizational components with a separate zippered pocket for all of your smaller items. So, you have a large pocket where you can throw in anything from sneakers, sweaters, and jackets, as well as yourMacBook. Then, the smaller zippered pocket allows you to put in your iPad, pens, notebooks, chargers and all other items. I found this bag especially useful when I would go to the gym after work or class as I didn’t have to carry a separate bag for all of my clothes.
The zippered top of the bag is unlike other backpacks I’ve seen; it zippers the bag completely shut, but also gives users the option to fold the zippered portion and snap it shut with two steel clasps.
When I first started using the bag, I was worried that if it got too heavy, my back would start hurting. However, C6 has added a mesh padded panel all along the backside of the bag to prevent misshapen objects from poking you in the back. This came in most handy when there were sneakers thrown into the bag with clothing.
In terms of using the bag, I realized right away that this is not an everyday bag for most users. This is because of the size of the bag, which is insanely large. Even the small backpack is too big to carry when you’re just moving your Macbook Air or a small notebook, leaving your device to fly around inside the bag. I found it was the best bag for going to the gym, traveling, and transporting clothes for a single day stay over somewhere.
The C6 backpack separates the small items from the larger ones, which is excellent for organization. I appreciated this a lot when I had to quickly access the back section for my wallet or my iPhone.
The rugged material of the bag helped to prevent dirt from getting all over when I left it on the ground at the train station or put it overhead on a bus.
It is also easily washable, which makes it great for when you had too many articles of sweaty clothing.
C6 creates some quality products for a slightly higher price tag, though it is justified once you start using it. Ultimately, I found this bag is perfect for when you have a lot of items to carry (on some days). However, I don’t have to carry that much stuff every day, so I often found myself leaving the bag at home and opting for something a bit smaller. Other than that, I think the color, material, and usability make this a decent purchase.
