Cyber Monday 2013

Black Friday has come and gone, Saturday and Sunday haven’t yet been claimed by the marketing machine, but then it’s time for Cyborg Monday! I mean Cyber Monday! Cyborg Monday actually sounds pretty cool, especially if you’re a Janelle Monáe fan like me, but we’ll stay on topic and focus on all of the Black Friday deals for the Macintosh that have carried over through December 2nd, and highlight some new ones, too.

Software

  • New - Save 50% on all O’Reilly ebooks and videos. Shop over 7,000 titles from top technology publishers. Ebooks and videos from oreilly.com are DRM-free. You get free lifetime access, multiple formats, and free updates. Sync with Dropbox — your files, anywhere.
  • Macphun Software has announced their BlackFriday photography deals which includes special pricing on software products plus several value-adds. Get Intensify, Snapheal, Fx Photo Studio Pro and ColorStrokes with a rocking Cyber Monday 40% discount.
  • Smith Micro is celebrating the upcoming holiday shopping season with its Black Friday and Cyber Monday holiday software sales and bundle pack. For a limited time, Smith Micro will be offering a variety of discounts on products including Anime Studio Pro 9, Poser 9, Manga Studio 4 EX, MotionArtist, ScatterShow and more.
  • Just in time for Christmas, Glo Bible Premium is now only $24.99. Read Scripture anytime, anywhere. Plus, explore related virtual tours, photos, maps, artwork and more for a deeper, immersive experience of the Bible events and places. Glo Bible syncs across all your devices – iPad, iPhone, Mac and PC so you can access it anywhere, anytime.
  • Aquafadas, developer of digital publishing solutions and creative software for video, photo and animation, is kicking off Black Friday early with major discounts on all of its desktop software programs. From November 25th through December 2nd, Aquafadas products will all be available for over 50% off the original price.

Games

  • GOG.com wants gamers worldwide to skip on the queueing and take advantage of great Black Friday deals while staying cozy behind their PC/Mac screens. During the Black Friday Weekend Promo more than 60 classic titles available only on GOG.com–like Alone in the Dark, Capitalism Plus, and Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon–will be available 70% off. The deal runs until 10.59 AM GMT on 3 December 2013.
  • The Steam Autumn Sale is on now and runs until December 3rd, 2013. There are huge savings throughout the store, with daily deals, flash sales, and discounts on thousands of games. Add games to your Steam Wishlist and be notified when a game from your Wishlist goes on sale, or shop for games using the Steam Mobile App, available for iOS and Android.

Hardware

  • New – If you’re looking to sell your Mac rather than buy one, SellYourMac.com is offering a $20 bonus to their quote for your old computer. The offer is good on items of $25 or greater value.
  • PowerMax has announced a very special assortment of Black Friday/Cyber Monday Apple specials designed to make your holiday shopping easy. They selected 8 of their best-selling used iPads and knocked 20% off their already low sell prices.
  • With Black Friday and Cyber Monday around the corner, HYPER will be launching its biggest sale ever. Rather than waiting until Black Friday, this sale will start on Thanksgiving Day at 12:01am, allowing buyers to get an early start to their holiday. Besides unbeatably low prices up to as much as 50% off, this online sale also prevents you from having to enter into the shopping madness at stores. These devices are perfect for tech enthusiasts and those who will be purchasing mobile devices and cameras on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
