Dandelions: Chain of Seeds

In today’s gaming news, I’ve told you about angels with questionable fashion sense and robots with a low tolerance for other robots. If you’re looking for something a bit more relaxing, here’s a bouquet of flowers for you. Dandelions: Chain of Seeds from Thumbr and Polm Studio is now available for iOS and Android devices.

Dandelions: Chain of Seeds comes to us after winning the Best Indie Game – “Critic’s Choice Award” at Casual Connect Europe 2014. Apparently, the European critics are big into games that offer a “unique and relaxing puzzle experience.” I guess I’m up for that, too. The developers call Dandelions “the perfect companion after a hard day’s work that will simultaneously relax and challenge you.” Sounds better than listening to kids yell at each other for “laughs” on the Disney Channel, which is what I currently get after a hard day’s work.

More specifically:

Dandelions is an addictive ambient puzzle game where players need to connect dandelion seeds in order to advance. The game features three uniquely-crafted flower worlds with 60 levels of Zen. Experience the beautiful, surreal worlds and lose yourself in the hypnotic chimes. Enter a sea of tranquility and unlock new challenges and environments. Unwind by replaying levels using different puzzle-solving strategies.

Dandelions: Chain of Seeds is available now for iOS devices for $2.99 with no in-app purchases! If you’d like to try it out first, a free version is also available.
