Satechi F1 Smart Monitor Stand

Tuesday, we told you about F1 2013 from Feral Interactive. Today, we have news of an F1 of a different kind. This one—the Satechi F1 Smart Monitor Stand—combines a slim, modern design and 4 USB ports to create a monitor or laptop stand that’s as much about functionality as it’s about organization.

The F1’s four USB 2.0 ports allow users to connect any USB-based devices at the front of the stand, avoiding tangled cords and the need to reach behind your monitor or iMac while transferring data at rates up to 470Mbps. The stand also features an audio port for a microphone and another for headphones.

The F1 Smart Monitor stand is supported by two sturdy aluminum alloy legs able to hold up to 22lbs., and can raise the user’s monitor to one of two preset heights to reduce eye and neck strain, allowing for a more comfortable working environment. The stand also improves the computer’s ventilation while creating additional desk space to better organize whatever it is that’s cluttering up your desk space…such as these iPad Air case review units I have to get to.

The F1 Smart Monitor Stand is available now for the introductory price of $29.99 at and
