Apple’s product line has gone went through some changes as of late. The company unveiled the iPhone 5c with 8GB storage, which is currently available in the UK. Now, as was also rumored, Apple has discontinued the iPad 2 and replaced it with the iPad 4 with retina display, which costs just $399 for the 16GB model.

Apple kept the iPad 2 available in its online store as a budget offering when they unveiled the latest iPad Air. The only problem was that it was priced a little high considering the hardware it brought to the table, which was quite old. Replacing it with the iPad 4 may attract potential buyers, as the newer tablet comes with better hardware and a Retina display with the same price tag.

It’s currently available in only black and white models with 16GB storage. Although the higher storage options aren’t available, users can get the LTE variant for $529 on all major US carriers.
