It was only last month that Microsoft finally brought its Office apps to iPad users. Now, the company has made the apps even better with the latest Office for iPad update. Now at v1.0.1, the app lets you print Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint slides. Unfortunately, edit functionality is still available only for those who subscribe to Office 365, which is available for $99.99 yearly.
Office for iPad lets you print Word document with or without markup. In Excel, you can print a selected range, a single worksheet or an entire worksheet. While in Powerpoint, you can select the pages or slides that you want to print.
Aside from the print functionality, Powerpoint now comes with SmartGuides. This feature helps you align pictures, shapes, and textboxes as you move them around on a slide.
Finally, for Excel for iPad, you can can now use AutoFit feature. This is useful for adjusting the width of multiple rows or the height of multiple columns, all at the same time.
Of course, there are also various bug fixes and stability improvements pushed on to the new version of the Office for iPad apps. And it looks like things are going to get a bit better in the coming days as Microsoft said that they are already working on the next update.
